“We stepped out of the van and approached the guards at the gate, we were told the Great MADIBA was resting , but when the guards heard that we were from Tanzania, they gladly welcomed us to take pictures outside his house while they kept talking to us in Swahili and telling us of a place in Tanzania called Morogoro, that’s when I recalled the times when Tanzania openly welcomed most of the freedom fighters in the Apartheid era to seek shelter in our nation, and I knew our kindness still lingers in their hearts and they felt the need to show us the same gratitude.” Writes Anganile Mwakyanjala
